ADVANCED SPERM ASSESSMENT BY FLOW CYTOMETRY

In situations where further analysis of functional physiology including, but not limited to; oxidative status, DNA integrity or acrosome integrity, are required, flow cytometry can be used for detailed assessment . Flow cytometry allows rapid, objective assessment of 10,000+ sperm per sample, as opposed to only a few hundred via fluorescent microscopy. This tool can be used to reveal nuacned information about the function of spermatozoa within a semen sample.
